Historical Society of the 6th Arrondissement

The purpose of this association is to study the history and heritage of the 6th arrondissement of Paris. To implement this policy, the Historical Society of the 6th arrondissement organises :

- Monthly lectures on subjects related to the history of the district, usually on the third Thursday of the month, in the marriage room of the VIth town hall.

- Visits to monuments, buildings or museums in the district.

- Thematic or neighbourhood walks in the district.

- Day trips to the Ile-de-France.

Access to the conferences is free as long as places are available. No prior registration is required. However, visits, walks and excursions are reserved for members of the association. It is therefore necessary to become a member to take part in them, and to register. A financial contribution is generally requested at the time of registration.
