The Galette du Coeur
The Chefs' Galette
will be held on Saturday 7 January 2023
Epiphany rhymes with solidarity thanks to the Disciples of Escoffier Paris who organise with the Saint-Germain-des-Prés Committee the 18th edition of the Galette des chefs on 7 January 2023 in front of the church of Saint Germain des Près.
Bringing together the crème de la crème of chefs, pastry chefs and craftsmen, the association sells galettes for a good cause! This sale helps support the POIC association to treat this orphan disease.
By January 2022, the Disciples had raised over €15,000 with 500 wafers sold.
From 9am onwards, on the Place de l'Eglise Saint Germain, it's all the rage: more than 500 galettes arrive, sold at round prices and for a good cause. For nearly 20 years, the Disciples d'Escoffier Paris team has been organising this exceptional sale, always in the spirit of conviviality and sharing that drives the association, in the presence of chefs.
Among the talented chefs and artisans, here are those who will be offering galettes and other delicacies:
Guy Savoy, Maxime Frédéric, Michel & Sébastien Bras, Patrick Juhel, Butard Enescot, Christian Le Squer, Jean Marc Notelet, Maison Vérot, Babka Zana, École Ferrandi, École Ferrieres, Bruno Doucet, Jean Luc Poujauran, Guy Krenzer, Michel Rostang pour Dessirer, Rémi Henaux, Samir Baila, Ralf Edeler, Benoit Castel, Denny Imbroisi, La Grande Épicerie de Paris, Pierre Hermé, Gilles Marchal, Christophe Felder, Damien Piscioneri, Le Saint Group, Le Cercle Vert, Maison Laurence...
All profits will be donated to the POIC association:
Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstructions are characterised by symptoms and signs of obstruction of the digestive tract in the absence of any lesion occluding the intestinal lumen. The POIC Association, which has more than 200 members and donors, has many objectives: to provide moral support to patients and their families, to help them in their administrative procedures to obtain recognition of the handicap, to support medical research financially, to communicate about this orphan disease to the health world, to inform patients & families of the progress of research...
