The jury of this new German-Pratin prize has selected ten French novels for its first selection. A second list will be released on 13 October and the winner will be announced on 7 November at the private club in the rue Princesse.
Members of the Castel Prize jury and its co-founder Carole Chrétiennot met at Castel, a club in the rue Princesse in Paris, to establish a first selection of 10 novels for the September 2022 literary season. The second selection will be announced on 13 October.

A plaque in Castel's library
The winner will be awarded a prize on 7 November at a party in the private club. The winner will receive a Castel membership card for one year. A plaque will also be engraved with his or her name and placed in the library. The prize is worth €5,000.
The jury for this new prize is composed of Claire Berest, Vincent Darré, Étienne Gernelle, Lilia Hassaine, Eva Ionesco, Marc Lambron, Justine Lévy, Richard Malka, Tobie Nathan and Gaël Tchakaloff.
